Since Israel's founding, the American Jewish Congress has worked to strengthen the relationship between the United States and Israel. We believe that the alliance between the two democratic nations is rooted not only in shared strategic interests, but also in shared democratic values, innovation, freedom, and a commitment to human dignity.

Our work spans government relations, public policy, media engagement, educational initiatives, leadership exchanges, and public advocacy campaigns. We engage elected officials, diplomats, community leaders, and civic institutions to strengthen bipartisan support for Israel and deepen understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing the U.S.-Israel relationship.

At moments of crisis and at moments of opportunity, we work to ensure that Israel's story is heard, that misinformation is challenged, and that the partnership between the United States and Israel remains strong for future generations. We believe that a secure Israel and a strong U.S.-Israel alliance contribute not only to the wellbeing of both nations, but to stability and progress throughout the democratic world.
