Senator Kim has expressed support for Israel’s right to exist and advocates for a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. In a statement regarding a ceasefire and hostage release deal between Israel and Hamas, he emphasized the importance of diplomacy and the protection of civilians.

Senator Kim has publicly supported U.S. security assistance to Israel but he actuallyvoted in favor of resolutions aimed at blocking $8.8 billion in arms sales to Israel, citing concerns over the use of such weapons in civilian areas.

Kim has expressed support for the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), commonly known as the Iran Nuclear Deal. He believes in the importance of diplomatic efforts to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons and has advocated for reentering the agreement if Iran complies with its obligations.
